Rodney Charles Paulin's Obituary
Rodney Charles Paulin, age 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. He was born on October 9, 1945, in Muskegon, Michigan, to Charles and Helen (Matuz) Paulin. Rod proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He married the love of his life, Mary Ellen Tomorsky, on June 5th, 1970, in Muskegon, Michigan and spent fifty-four wonderful years together. Rod loved gardening, fishing, hunting, and tinkering in his garage fixing and creating things. He was helpful and generous to anyone in need. He was so very proud of his family and especially his Grandchildren. Through his years of struggle, he always had a bright side. Always wanting to have a good time, sharing stories and laughs with his one-of-a-kind sense of humor that we will miss so much. He is survived by his wife: Mary Ellen Paulin; children: Richard & Renee (Pater) Paulin; sister: Karen Boles and grandchildren: Case and Camron. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Paulin and Helen (Don) Mark, brother-in-law: Jack Boles. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to West Michigan Hospice. VISITATION will be Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Lee Chapel, 6291 Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444.
