Mr. Rodney "Rod" R. Boes' Obituary
Rodney “Rod” Boes, age 60, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015. He was born February 10, 1955 to Kenneth A. and Barb J. Boes (Timmer) in Muskegon. Rod was a handyman working as a welder, small engine repairman, and many more jobs during his life. He married Karol Lynn Slaght on September 7, 1975 and spent 40 happy years together. Rod was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Boes; brother, Kenneth Boes; daughter, Patricia Boes. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Boes; wife, Karol; children, Paul, David (Kerry), Pamela, Steven (Tiffany), Kevin (Cindy); siblings, Lawrence, Michael, Colleen (Dave), Mark, Paula; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A luncheon celebrating Rod’s life will be held on April 11, 2015 from 2-4pm at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100).
