Mr. Roger S. Hancock's Obituary
Mr. Roger S. Hancock, 70, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022, in Muskegon. He was born July 11, 1951, in Muskegon to John and Berlie (Shivley) Hancock and lived most of his life here. Roger was retired and enjoyed going to the races and spending time with family and friends. He married the former Rebecca M. Dake, and she survives him along with four children: Emma Strait, Ann Klug, Rose (Eric Brown) Hancock, Roger Hancock; four grandchildren: Rebecca Strait, Randel (Kemera) Klug, Harley Klug, Robert Brown; siblings: Dale Hancock, Dennis (Lynn) Hancock, Greg (Roxanne) Hancock, Paul (Angie) Hancock, Kevin (Sherry) Hancock, Sonja West; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; siblings: Michael Hancock, John Hancock, Jeffrey Hancock, Margaret Hancock, and Melinda Bussing. The funeral service will be Thursday, April 14, at 1:00 PM at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442. Masks are optional. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Egelston Township Cemetery.
