Roger Clark Heykoop's Obituary
Mr. Roger Clark Heykoop, age 73, went to be with his Lord and Savior unexpectedly on Friday, February 22, 2019. He was born in Muskegon on April 9, 1945 to John and Ruth (Lindstrom) Heykoop. Roger had been employed by Kaydon Corporation for 41 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. Roger enjoyed riding his motorcycle, feeding the deer, camping, hunting and fishing. He will be remembered as a hardworking, caring, and thoughtful man. On October 2, 1971, Roger married the former Anna Lesiw and she survives him along with four children, Todd (Christy) Heykoop, Scott Heykoop, Michael Heykoop, and Lisa Kohlbeck; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, Johnny Heykoop. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Tim and Leroy Heykoop; and one sister, Loretta Semelbauer. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Lakeside Baptist Church (2250 Denmark St. Muskegon 49441) with Rev. Tom Beetham officiating.
