I was a great admirer, of Roger. I always liked strong men and Roger was one of them. This quality is indicative of many Marines.
Roger served in Korea and was my mate, on the vessell WG JACKSON.
I wish I could die half the man that Roger is, but realize that that is a goal set to high.

Uncle Roger was one of a kind! He was exactly 40 years and 1 day older than me. He came to my softball games and other events as a kid. Uncle Roger was "a big kid" in all of the nieces and nephews eyes as he joked around with us and played games. He will be missed. Heaven has another wonderful angel!
