Roger R. Rull's Obituary
Mr. Roger R. Rull, 79, passed away late Saturday evening, October 22, 2016 in Muskegon. He was born April 10, 1937 to Owen and Melba (Johnson) Rull in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident. Roger graduated from Muskegon High School in 1955, and was employed at Sealed Power for 37 years before retiring in 1996. He was a longtime member of Wolf Lake United Methodist Church. Roger enjoyed playing baseball in his earlier years and also hunting, golfing and bowling. Roger loved spending time at his trailer on Campbell Lake, and all of the great friends he made up there over the years. He also enjoyed his time at the Oakridge Senior Center and going on trips and Wii Bowling. Most of all Roger loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and watching them in all the many sporting events they participated in. On April 11, 1959, he married Lois A. Rusco, and she survives him along with 3 children, Ken (Sis) Rull, Robin (Mike) Budwick, Lorri Fowler; 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, George Rull; 1 sister-in-law, Dawn Rull. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Don Rull; and 1 sister-in-law, Ginny Rull. The Funeral Service for Roger will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 26, at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., (231) 726-5210 with Rev. Susan Hagans officiating. Burial will take place at Egelston Township Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday, and 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
