Roger Dale Tarte's Obituary
Roger Dale Tarte, age 70, passed away at home on May 29, 2024. Roger was born to Austin and Eldonna (Morrell) Tarte on July 2, 1953, in Muskegon, Michigan. Roger graduated from Orchard View High School in 1972. He went on to work as a firefighter for Muskegon Township for 25 years. After retiring from the fire department, Roger worked with his brother at his trucking company until his retirement in 2018. Roger was married to Bonnie (Maitland) on August 27th, 1977, in Muskegon Michigan. They were happily married until Bonnie’s death in 2007. Roger is survived by his son Jeffery (Stacey) Tarte; 3 grandchildren: Kassandra, Isabel, and William; 2 brothers: Robert (Arlette) Tarte and James Tarte; and a sister, Cynthia Tarte. Roger was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Tarte; son Dale Tarte; and 2 brothers: Bruce Tarte and Terry Tarte.
