Mr. Roger J. Thomas' Obituary
Mr. Roger J. Thomas, age 68, passed away May 22, 2019 in Muskegon. He was born December 31, 1950 to Arthur and Bessie (Wheeler) Thomas in Grand Haven, and lived all of his life in the W. Michigan area. He owned Thomas’ Lawn Mower repair, and was fondly known as “the Lawn Mower Man.” Roger served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era, had formerly worked at Henderson Cutter Grind, and helped out at the Old Homestead Inn. On July 23, 1984 Roger married Pamela (Kiesgen), and she survives him along with 1 son: Arthur Thomas; 1 daughter: Alecia (Jake) Oklad; 5 grandchildren: LCpl Brett Thomas, Christopher, Makenna, Jayden and Ave; 1 sister: Linda (Frank) Thomas-Rubin; and his dogs Sam, Aboo and Zena. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Frank. A celebration of Roger’s life will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at 1:00 PM at the Don Rea VFW Post #8846, 1061 Witham Rd., N.
