Roger R. Seng's Obituary
Mr. Roger R. Seng, age 69, passed away at home surrounded by family on, Wednesday, May 27, 2009 following a long illness. Roger was born in Muskegon on May 28, 1939 to Leo and Arline (Veltman) Seng, graduated from Muskegon Hts. H.S. in 1957 and married the former Ellen R. Babcock on November 21, 1959. Roger was general manager of Smitty’s Beverage “Miller Beer Distribution” for 25 years retiring in 1987. He was a devoted member of the Christian Community Center, Muskegon Hts. Optimist, the Lithuanian Club, Tatra Hall and numerous other clubs and organizations throughout the Muskegon area. He was a past president of Easter Seals, the Easter Seals Camp and also active in the American Cancer Society. Roger spent countless hours working and raising money for the Christian Community Center and helping those in need and organizations deserving. He is survived by: his wife of nearly 50 years, Ellie; son, Robert (Sandra) Seng; two daughters, Julie (John) Malinowski and Kymberly (Mark) Molitor all of Muskegon; four grandchildren, Jessica and Emily Seng and Kaylie and Lauren Malinowski; three brothers, Robert (Reva) Seng, Larry Seng and Allen (Kay) Seng; two sisters, Betty Gaines and Susan (William) LeRoux; extended family members, Kellie McArthur and William Meier, Tiffannie, Heather and Chelsea.
