Ronald Raymond Bitson Sr.'s Obituary
Ronald R. Bitson Sr., age 74, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, in Muskegon, Michigan after a short, courageous fight with cancer. He was born on January 24, 1950, to Raymond and Adella (Moseler) Bitson in Fremont, Michigan. He married the love of his life, his wife, Missy O’Malley, on July 26, 1969, in Muskegon, Michigan. Ron was active and proud to serve his country in the Army Reserves from 1969 to 1990, when he retired at Sergeant First Class. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, classic cars, spending time on his meticulous yard and working in his garage. Ron’s joy came from gathering his family close to spend time with them. His family would say he was a great teacher, leader, and provider for their family. His quiet strength and deep compassion inspired his family to lean on one another, teaching them the importance of expressing love, vulnerability, and mutual support.
