Mr. Ronald James Buckhalter's Obituary
Mr. Ronald James Buckhalter, age 72, passed away at his home Tuesday, October 1, 2019, surrounded by family. Ron was born June 11, 1947 to David and Alice (Freeman) Buckhalter in Sandusky, MI. Ron served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. On May 5, 2001, he married the former Sue Ann Aue in Montague, and she survives him. Ron was a member of Faith Baptist Church where he served as an usher. He had been employed at Misco/Howmet/Alcoa for 36 years prior to his retirement in 2004. God was first in Ron’s life, followed closely by his family. He also loved to talk to people and get to know them. In addition to Sue, his wife of 18 years, Ron is survived by children, Jacqueline Buckhalter, Robert (Michele) Inman, Amanda (Carlos Rivera) Cooper and Shawn Inman; 12 grandchildren, Jazmyn, Hanna, Jordan, Summer, Justin, Austin, Kian, Mason, Justis, Damien, Amiya, and Donovan; brothers, David (Marge) Buckhalter and Dan Buckhalter; and many nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM Friday, October 4, 2019 at Faith Baptist Church, 3593 Whitehall Rd. with Pastor James Swierenga officiating and Full Military Rites afforded under the Auspices of the VFW Muskegon County Council. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service.
