Mr. Ronald Wright Burnet's Obituary
Ronald W. Burnet, 84, passed away January 24, 2018, after battling Alzheimer's disease. He was born June 4, 1933 in Harrisburg, Penn. to Robert and Margaret (Kuukle) Burnet. He served in the US Navy and worked at Brunswick Corporation as a Mechanical Engineer for 20 years. He then opened a hardware store in Twin Lake for many years. In 1981 he married the former Carol Krause at Bethany Christian Reformed Church. Ron loved to tell stories of his adventures and make people laugh. He was an excellent handyman, able to fix practically anything. He could restore old vehicles to their former beauty and did so with an Oliver tractor and a Rebel sailboat. He will be greatly missed by His wife Carol, his children, Gene (Debbie) Burnet, Randy (Elise) Krause, and Gina (Mark) Hayek. A MEMORIAL SERVICE is being planned for summer.
