Mr. Ronald D. Carnes' Obituary
Mr. Ronald D. Carnes, age 74, passed away after a brief illness on Friday, June 19, 2015 in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on June 8, 1941 to William L. and Eleanor B. (Singer) Carnes and was a life resident of the area. Ron had worked as a salesman at Sears for 30 years before his retirement. Also, he worked 10 years as a salesman for Irwin’s Furniture. Ron loved flowers, gardening, and collecting model antique cars. On April 30, 1966, Ron married the former Judy K. Wheeler in Muskegon and she survives him along with one brother, William G. (Betty) Carnes; one sister-in-law, Pat Frishett; dear friends, Kenneth and Dorothy Brink; his beloved dog, Oliver and one niece, Donna (Jason) Hozer. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jack Carnes. According to Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
