Ronald James Coleman's Obituary
Ronald James Coleman, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 28, 2024. He was born May 11, 1958, in Traverse City, MI to Aaron and Dorothy (Zimmerman) Coleman. On January 8, 1996, he married the former Audrey L. Carney. Ron worked in the construction field for many years and later became an over-the-road truck driver until his retirement in 2020. He loved everything outdoors including hunting, fishing, and camping, and recently took up beekeeping. Ron also loved to travel and spend time with family. SURVIVORS include his wife of 28 years, Audrey of Ravenna, MI; stepchildren: Tracy Broton of Grandville, MI and Jason (Abigail) Bussing of Muskegon; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters: Doris Eichel of LeRoy, MI and Margaret (Paul) Thomas of Brethren, MI; brother, Joe Coleman of Kewadin, MI; two sisters-in-law: Mena Coleman of Ravenna, MI and Beverly Coleman of Kewadin, MI; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Kenneth Coleman and Aaron Coleman. A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held at a later date.
