Ronald S. Cooper's Obituary
Ronald S. Cooper, age 73, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017. He was born on August 12, 1944 to Wallace and Stella (Soful) Cooper in Muskegon. Ron was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a machinist for Automatic Spring Corporation for over 40 years until his retirement in 2006. Ron enjoyed cooking, golfing, going to the casino and he always had the best sense of humor. He was a loving father and grandfather who always enjoyed spending time with his family on the White River. On September 27, 2002 he married the former Linda Brown who survives him along with his children, Rhonda (Jeff) Freye, Annette (Randy) Beekman, Michael (Julie) Cooper; step children, Bryan (Brittney) Fuller, Sandra Verspoor; many granchildren; sisters, Pamela (John) Sowa, Charlene Drake, Kim (Nick) Chorny; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Rusty. He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Kathy Jo Cooper; parents; step father, Charles Drake; brothers, Wallace Cooper and David Cooper. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will take place on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at St. Thomas Catholic Church (3252 Apple Ave.) at 11:00 am with visitation an hour prior to the service.
