Mr. Ronald Heiss' Obituary
Mr. Ronald Lee Heiss, age 54, passed away September 1, 2013 at his home. Ron was born September 11, 1958 to Clifford and Alvera (Reiser) Heiss in Muskegon. He was a 1976 graduate of Muskegon High School and, prior to his illness, was employed as a machinist by L3 where he was a union steward. He served his country in the US Army. On May 13, 2011, Ron married the former Sherry Ann Tuttle. He was a member of Dr. Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church and a member of AFL/CIO Machinist Local #114. Ron was an avid motorcyclist, a member of ABATE and liked to hunt and fish. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Heiss; several children and grandchildren; his mother, Alvera Heiss; two brothers, Donald and Jim Heiss; sister, Carol; and several nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his father. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Chapel of the Chimes, 2188 Remembrance Drive with Rev. Dennis J. Stroh officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
