Sending prayers and condolences to all of Ron and Sharron's families. Ron was like a protective father to me at the Lansing Board of Water and Light. Greg also worked for him for a short time before returning to the Water Production Department. Ron was a practical joker and always thinking up new ideas for our laboratory to try and invent. Condolences to all of the Hohenstein family. I worked with both Ron and Sharron at the BWL for many years. Ron was a gentle soul and a gentlemen to the core. I remember his deep smooth voice the most. So very sorry to hear of his passing. I hope the family finds strength & peace in knowing Ron is now at rest. His spirit will be with you forever.

I’ll never forget that Mr. Hohenstein gave me my first set of training wheels for my bike when I was about 4 or 5 years old. He lived a couple houses down from my family in Holt and his daughter Sarah was one of my first friends. He was a very good man.
