Ronald Holmes Sr.'s Obituary
Ronald Holmes, Sr., age 80, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Trinity Health – Muskegon Campus. He was born June 22, 1944 in Muskegon Heights, MI to Burvin Ramsey and Dorothy Elizabeth Penn Williams. Ronald received his formal education through Muskegon Heights Public School Systems. He was employed with Sealed Power Corp/Dana Corp as a machinist for 40 years prior to his retirement. He is survived by his sons, Mark Holmes of Holland, MI, Ronald Holmes, DeShay Holmes of Muskegon, MI, Daughter Tammy Holmes of Grand Rapids, MI, Brothers Timothy Holmes of Muskegon, MI, Tommie (Jutta) Allen of Feldatal, Germany, Sisters Connie Ramsey of Saginaw, MI, Marsha Baldwridge of Madison, WI, Amanda Williams, Eileen Allen of Muskegon, MI, 17 Grand Children, 41 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, Special Nieces Stephanie (Ernie) Mobley and Ursela Harris, a host of special Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Oliver Wendell and Elizabeth Holmes, wife Delores Glover Holmes, Sisters, Valerie Harris, Regina Wilkerson, Deborah Bridges, Brother Angelo McKinnon, and son Charles Holmes. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, December 30, 2024 at Kingdom Embassy Covenant Church, 3025 Glenside Blvd, Roosevelt Park, MI 49441, with Pastor Arthur Duren, officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at Mona View Cemetery.
