Ronald F. Lawrence, Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Ronald F. Lawrence, Sr. age 77, passed away Sunday evening July 1, 2012 at home. He was born on May 6, 1935 in Sheboygan Falls, WI to Edward J. and Margaret A. (Heus) Lawrence, and resided in the Muskegon area most of his life. Ron was a Veteran of the US Army, having served during the Korean Era. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Ron was a steel guitar player and entertainer, and the owner of Furniture Strippers of Muskegon. He also enjoyed golfing with his buddies. Ron was preceded in death by his first wife, Iris L. Brown Lawrence; and second wife, Susan A. Smith Lawrence. SURVIVORS include 7 children, Penny (Bob) Hesse, Rick (Kellie) Lawrence, son, Ron (Elaine) Lawrence, Jr. who passed away in 1999, Marjorie Lawrence, Robert “Skip” (Judy) George, Judy George, Bonnie (Brian) Hackney, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Jane (preceded in death by her husband, George) Lawrence Rogers, Rita (preceded in death by her husband, Raymond) Lawrence Stout, and Jerome (Pauline) Lawrence; along with many nieces and nephews. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11AM Monday, July 9 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Julian Reginato presiding. VISITIATION will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 10-11AM.
