Ronald L. Ludlow's Obituary
Ronald L. Ludlow, age 77, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021. He was born December 1, 1943 in Muskegon to Louise and Dan Ludlow. Ron lived in the Muskegon area his entire life. Ron worked 20 years at Campbell Wyant and Cannon foundry (CWC), followed by another 20 years at Eagle Ottawa Leather Company, and retired in 2006. In Ron’s younger years, he loved wood working, working on cars and engines, along with fishing. Ron spent much of his free time in the garage tinkering on most anything. After Ron’s retirement in 2006, his passion for real-time visual images exploded. Ron found much happiness in Law & Order and finding ways to turn old VHS tapes into DVDs. Ron is survived by his former wife, Kathy Ludlow; 2 sons: Kevin Thompson and Ronnie Ludlow, Jr.; grandchildren: Samantha Huebsch, Micheal Thompson, and Evan and Claire Ludlow; sisters: Gloria McIlrath, Pat Meurs, and Barb Schichtel; along with several nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents: Louise and Dan; brother, Dan; sisters: June Montambo, Ann Schmidt, and Doris Berkompas. A memorial service for Ron will be held 12 Noon on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the First Baptist Church (1070 S. Quarterline Rd., Muskegon, MI 49442)
