Ronald Lee Peterson's Obituary
Ronald (Ron) Lee Peterson, 93, of Fruitport, MI passed away November 2nd, 2021 in the care of his loved ones. Ron was born on July 12, 1928 to Seward and Lillian Peterson in Chicago, IL. Ron served three years in the Air Force during the Korean War as an Aircraft Electrical Mechanic. After the service he settled in Fruitport where he soon met his wife, Muriel (Slate) and they married December 21,1956. Ron worked at Anderson-Bolling until his retirement and then drove part time for NAPA auto parts in Fruitport. He was an active member of the VFW and Fruitport Eagles. Ron cherished time with his family and many close friends and loved them dearly. He is survived by two sons, Lee (Dianne) Peterson and Scott Peterson; one daughter, Nancy (Hector) Villalobos; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Ron was preceded in death by many loved ones, most notably his daughter Debbie Peterson. Ron is being cremated and a visitation luncheon will be planned at a later date.
