Mr. Ronald K. Peterson's Obituary
Mr. Ronald K. Peterson, 73, passed away Friday afternoon, April 25, 2014, in Muskegon. Born June 16, 1940 in Anoka, MN to Arnold and Myrtle (Hagestuen) Peterson, he was a Muskegon resident most of his life. He married the former Carol Hanson on August 25, 1962 in Paynesville, MN, and she survives him. Mr. Peterson had been a Chemist-Supervisor for Lomac Chemical Co. prior to his retirement, and attended First Evangelical Lutheran Church. He had been very active in Boy Scouts of America, and had represented his employers in many civic organizations. His SURVIVORS include his wife, Carol; children: Eric (Missy) Peterson, Kristin (Ben) Pekel, and Karin Peterson; six grandchildren; and a brother, Richard A. (Jill) Peterson. Ronald enjoyed hunting and fishing, and attending his grandchildren’s various activities, and loved his dogs, especially Buddy. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held for Mr. Peterson at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at The Outpouring Worship Center, 11811 Heights-Ravenna Rd., Ravenna, with Pastor Richard Williams officiating. VISITATION will be Monday, April 28, 2014 from 5-7 P.M. at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442, phone 231-726-5210, and one hour prior to the service at the Church.
