Ronald M. Stone's Obituary
Ronald M. Stone, age 75, passed away peacefully, Sunday, July 30, 2023. He was born on February 19, 1948, to Jack Stone and Valerie Thaden in Chicago, IL. His earlier years were spent in Chicago, until 1971, when Michigan became home. He was a dedicated employee at Engine Power Components where he worked as a machinist for 31 years before retiring in 2014. Ron was a large supporter of the community and took part in both the YFCA and Muskegon Big Reds. He was an avid runner and participated in the YMCA running club. He enjoyed spending his time honing in on his wood working skills are writing science fiction stories. Ron was known most for his dedicated and hardworking personality. He was always willing to put in the extra time and effort any day. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He will truly be missed by many. He is survived by his three sons, Ronald (Claudia) Stone, Jeffrey (Annette) Stone and Michael Stone; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren with two on the way; and mother of his children, Linda Stone. He is preceded in death by his father, Jack (Bea) Stone; mother, Valerie Thaden; stepfather, James Thaden; and numerous aunts and uncles.
