Ronald "Ron" Tabiadon's Obituary
Mr. Ronald “Ron” Tabiadon, age 77, of Grand Haven passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025. He was born December 11, 1947, in Battle Creek to Bruno and Lorraine (Radtke) Tabiadon. On August 9, 1975, he married Shirley Slezak in Fenton.
Ron worked for General Motors for over 33 years before retiring.
Ron was a fishing captain and chartered Tab’s Sports Fishing. He loved being on the water, playing the piano and accordion and traveling with Shirley. Ron served his country in the US Air Force and was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He was also a member of St. Patrick Church of St. Patrick- St. Anthony Parish.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley; siblings: Bonnie Davenport, Gloria (Preston) Overstreet, and Don (Sandi) Tabiadon; and many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruno and Lorraine.
A funeral service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, October 2, 2025, at The VanZantwick Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 620 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Fort Custer National Cemetery.
