Ronald G. "Ron" Boyce's Obituary
My one and only love left me on Valentines Day morning when our Lord ordained it was his time. Ron was born in Lansing, MI on April 13, 1934 to Harold and Viola (Shoultz) Boyce. Ron married Marty VandeVrede in Lansing, MI in 1952 and raised their 3 sons. He proudly served in the United States Navy Reserves from August 1952 until he was honorably discharged in August 1960. He retired from Apex Welding Gases and Supplies in 2000 with over 30 years of faithful service. Residing in Fruitport, MI in 2005, he became an active board member of Stillwater Springs Association. He is survived by his loving wife, Marty; 3 sons, Kit (Barbara), Kris (Lori), Kal; 1 brother, Keith (Dorothy); 5 grandchildren, Michael, Ryan, Kristle, Travis, Kyle and 1 great-granddaughter, Emma.
