Ronda R. Whiteman's Obituary
Ronda R. Whiteman, age 61, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016. She was born May 18, 1954 in Muskegon to Donald and Evelyn (Johnson) Little. Ronda worked as a dental assistant for many years. On July 2, 1977 she married David F. Whiteman in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on June 13, 1999. Ronda enjoyed sewing and knitting, reading, bird watching, and gardening, but most of all, she loved being a mother and grandmother. SURVIVORS include 3 children: Kerri Hargett of Ludington, Holly (Rich Mellem) Whiteman of Fruitport, Cody Whiteman of Fruitport; 4 grandchildren: Trinity Paggeot, Hannah, Cierra, and Ashtyn Mellem; brother, Donn (Wendy) Little of Muskegon; sister, Sandra Clapper of Norton Shores; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Lori Little and Susan Roberts; and 2 brothers-in-law: Bob Clapper and Chuck Roberts. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Monday, February 22, 2016 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., (231) 726-5210 with Rev. John H. Brown officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Fruitport Cemetery.
