Mr. Rory James French's Obituary
Mr. Rory James French, age 61, passed away at his home on Monday, November 2, 2015. He was born in Cleveland, OH on October 12, 1954 to Gerald J. and Eunice E. (English) French. Rory was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a master carpenter and had most recently been employed as a CNC Operator at GE Aviation for the past 15 years. Rory enjoyed working on muscle cars, and was currently restoring a 1957 Corvette. He also enjoyed football, horse racing and NASCAR. On October 17, 1987, Rory married the former Jacquelyn C. Langfeldt in Muskegon and she survives him along with two brothers, Robin (Theresa) French and Jerome French; one sister, Jacquie (Richard) Kern; his mother-in-law, Carol “Buppy” Langfeldt; several nieces and nephews; his life-long friend, David Freeze and his faithful dog, Haley. He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, Jack Langfeldt. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 14, 2015 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Pastor John Brown officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to his service. MILITARY HONORS will be performed under the auspices of the Muskegon County Council.
