Rory Daniel Gardner's Obituary
Rory Daniel Gardner, age 32, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Rory was the son of Jon and Chere Gardner of Muskegon, and a little “big brother” to Ryan Gardner. He married the love of his life, Amy (Randall) Gardner, daughter of Warren and Debbie Randall, on February 14, 2007. They proceeded to have three beautiful children, Ava Mae, Louis “Lou boy”, and “tractor helper” Hudson. He was greatly loved by siblings, Ryan (Nathalie) Gardner, Warren (Karie) Randall, Kristen (Jeremy) Cooper, and Amanda (Ryan) Cadle. He was a loving uncle to Ethan, Noah, Brayden, Lexi, Aiden, Kora and Jayden. He was the proud grandson of Zen and Margaret Hanger, Fran Timmer and William Randall. He is greeted into heaven by his grandparents, Louis and Celaine Gardner; grandfather, Robert Timmer; grandmother, Avis Randall; adored cousin, Jessica; and beloved dog, Sammi. Rory was a graduate of Orchard View High School and a dedicated employee of GE Aviation in Muskegon. He was known by many as their personal “fix it” man, as he loved to help others and was very talented and innovative. Rory is a recent member of AA and a strong believer in Jesus Christ, who we know he is now spending eternity with. We would be honored for you to celebrate the life of this amazing man with us at Olivet Evangelical Free Church (6790 Harvey Rd.) on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 2 PM with visitation 1 hour prior to the service (1-2PM). There will also be a visitation from 2-5PM Sunday, March 12, 2017 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S Harvey St. 231-798-1100.
