Rosa Maria Garza's Obituary
Rosa Maria Garza, age 59, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022. She was born September 7, 1962 in San Benito, Texas to Miguel and Connie (Acosta) Cisneros. Rosa worked as a technician for North Ottawa Community Hospital in the sterile processing department for the past 15 years. On May 13, 1994, she married Juan N. Garza in Muskegon. She loved music and watching “Ellen” on TV, collecting crosses, and playing “Hay Day” on her tablet. But most importantly, she loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. SURVIVORS include her husband, Juan of Grand Haven; 4 children: Amanda (Larry) Perry of Muskegon, Steven (Julie) Suarez of Cedar Springs, Julie (Eric Grayscreetch) Garza of Grand Haven, and Juan N. “Johnny” (fiancée, Saray Morales) Garza II of Grand Haven; 10 grandchildren: Alexis, Isabel, Dallas, Damien, Steven, Tre, Miguel, Journni, Ellie, and NayVee; her mother, Connie Cisneros of Holland; 2 brothers: Rudy (Irma) Cisneros of Texas and Mike (Kim) Cisneros of Texas; 2 sisters: Elena Villafranco of Holland and Alicia (Christian) Gomez of Holland; and many nieces and nephews. Rosa was preceded in death by her father, Miguel Cisneros. A celebration of Rosa’s life will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 21, 2022 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231) 798-1100.
