Rose M. Byrnes' Obituary
Rose M. Byrnes (Wagenmaker, Everest), surrounded by family, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. She was born on March 27, 1920 to Anthony and Catherine (Homa) Bar. Rose was a life long resident of Muskegon. She worked for Muskegon Piston Ring, retiring in 1980. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church. She enjoyed cards, polka and square dancing, fishing and camping with the family. She also enjoyed golfing, having once scored a hole in one. Rose also enjoyed her membership of the Eagles and Moose Lodge. The joy of her life was spending time with her family and loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by 6 daughters, Janet (Romie) Anderson, Judy (Ron) Ernst, Jean (William) Bringedahl of Muskegon, JoAnn (Tom) Rajewski of Midland, Joyce Wagenmaker and Jackie (Bill) Scarim both of Chicago; one son, Thomas (Linda) Wagenmaker of Pierson; step-children, Mary (Steve) Baltz of Nashville, Linda Everest of Detroit and Millie Everest of South Lyons; 1 sister, Bernice Kling of Muskegon; plus 22 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her three husbands, Adrian Wagenmaker, Leo Everest and Bill Byrnes; two sons, Larry and Jim Wagenmaker; two step-sons, Bob and Dick Everest; her three brothers and four sisters. Visitation with Rose's family will take place on Sunday, April 10 from 2-7:30 PM, with a rosary service to be prayed at 7:30 PM at the Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. (231-759-8565). Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church (1716 6th St). In lieu of flowers, donations in Rose's name can be made to either Harbor Hospice or American Cancer Society.
