Rose Engel's Obituary
Mrs. Rose Engel, age 86, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at a local care facility. She was born June 5, 1926 in Muskegon to Steve and Anna (Bolcz) Puskarits. She married Robert W. Engel in Muskegon Hts. on November 6, 1948. He preceded her in death on July 23, 2010. Rose was a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church and was a past member of Muskegon Hts. Eagles and the Vikings. Rose was very dedicated to caring for her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her spare time, she loved to bowl and go polka dancing. She is survived by her children, Robert S. (Jackie) Engel, Dr. Michael A. (Susan E.) Engel and Annemarie (David M.) Welbes; 5 grandchildren, Michelle (Jeffery) Godfrey, Rebecca Welbes, Andrew, Erica & Jeffrey Engel; 2 great-grandchildren, Carter & Olivia Godfrey; her brother, Joseph Puskarits. She also was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Puskarits and brother, Stephen Puskarits. A MEMORIAL MASS will be held at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church, 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2012. VISITATION will be Tuesday 5 – 8 p.m. at
