Rose Mc Narland's Obituary
Mrs. Rose Marie Mc Narland, age 86, passed away Tuesday morning, March 15, 2005, at her residence. She was born in Weare Township on March 10, 1919 to Leo J. and Mary E. (Hertoughs) Kokx and has been a life resident of the Muskegon area. Mrs. Mc Narland had worked at The Norge prior to retiring from Bell Fiber. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Montague. Mrs. Mc Narland enjoyed quilting and loved to garden. On April 11, 1964, she married Louis Mc Narland and he preceded her in death in 1994. Rose is survived by 3 sisters, Ann Sorensen of Traverse City, Bernadette Wisneski of Muskegon, and Agnes Kokx of Hart; many nieces and nephews; and very dear friend, Colleen Walsh. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Delbert F. “Bud” Kokx and her parents. SERVICES will be 11AM Saturday at St. James Catholic Church in Montague with Rev. Fr. Chris Rouech officiating. VISITATION with the family will be from 10 – 11AM Saturday. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Share memories with the family at their “Online Guestbook” at www.sytsemafh.com.
