Rose M. Sturgis' Obituary
Rose M. Sturgis, age 65, passed away on February 19, 2025. She was born on June 9, 1959, to John and Marie (Peterson) Neff in Muskegon. Rose worked hard to the day she passed as a seamstress both for IATSE Local 26 in Grand Rapids and also for FomCore in Muskegon. Rose greatly enjoyed family time, especially her four grandchildren. She also enjoyed her antique barbie collection. On October 4, 1975, she married Robert Sturgis, and together they enjoyed many years of marriage until his passing in 2019. SURVIVORS include two sons, Robert Dean Sturgis Jr., and Randy Dean (Kristen) Sturgis; 4 grandchildren, Erika Marie, Olivia Rose, Rhylee Rose, Robert Dean III, and brother, Charles Neff. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Jane Neff. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held for Rose at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
