Mrs. Rose E. Vallie's Obituary
Mrs. Rose E. Vallie, age 85, passed away Wednesday, February 05, 2014 at her home. She was born in Java, SD on March 28, 1928 to Demeter and Anna (Feher) Stefanich. Mrs. Vallie had worked at several local restaurants as a waitress before her retirement. She was an avid reader and loved playing cards. She is survived by 6 children, Kenneth (Carol) Vallie, Gene (Mary Ann) Vallie, Roy (Ellen) Vallie, Mark Vallie, Walter Vallie and Christine (Mark) Vallie-Brown; 11 grandchildren including special granddaughter and caregiver, Melissa Vallie; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter and 2 sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. Vallie; an infant daughter, Sharon Rose Vallie; one granddaughter, Dawn Weller; her parents; 2 brothers and 1 sister. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Chapel. MEMORIALS in memory of Rose may be made to Mercy VNS Hospice.
