Rose Marie White's Obituary
Rose Marie (Eilers) White passed away on March 31, 2021 after facing a series of brief health complications. She was born in Claybanks Township, Michigan on September 14, 1936 to Louis and Ethel Eilers. She graduated from Montague High School and then Hackley School of Nursing. She married the love of her life, Lane S. White, Sr. on July 9, 1960. They had 3 children - Cindy, Lane and Mike. Rose Marie became a dedicated homemaker and mother while supporting her husband’s career. Rose Marie was an excellent cook and enjoyed sharing her talents with her loved ones. She loved family gatherings, planting flowers and collecting antiques. She was extremely proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed the opportunity to watch them grow and to support them in all of their endeavors. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Lane S. White, Jr. and by her brothers, sisters and in-laws. John (Floyd) Eilers, Francis (Vernetta) Eilers, Russ Eilers, Betty (Bill) Field, Barb (Roy) Cheever, Marilyn (Doug) Kocher, Linda (Carl) Titus and nephew Rick Leutzinger. She is survived by her daughter Cindy (White) Gillard, son Mike White, daughter-in-law Jill (VanderWall) White, sister Margaret (Jerry) Leutzinger, brother-in-laws Pat (Marlene) White, Henry (Kim) White, sister-in-laws Micki White and Paula Eilers. Grandchildren Autumn Gillard, Grant (Kelsey) Gillard, Paul (Erica) Gillard, great granddaughter Claire Gillard, Logan White, Kendyl White, Mitchell White, Raelyn (Will) Little, great grandson Asher Little, Morgan Schultz-White, Lane Thomas Schultz-White. She adored all of her family – nieces, nephews, grandchildren and all of her extended family and friends. Rose Marie was very liked by her neighbors and maintained her friendships with her nursing school friends. She had a special relationship with her niece Lori DePuydt who was always willing to take her to the casino, which Rose Marie enjoyed and cherished very much. Rose Marie’s kindness and love will be deeply missed by all. A celebration of life will be held at a later date this summer.
