Rosella M. Hower's Obituary
Mrs. Rosella M. Hower, age 94, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on June 14, 1923 to William and Zelda (Dryer) Brown. Rosella was a member of Calvary Memorial Church, enjoyed crafts and reading, and found great pleasure in long and peaceful outdoor walks. She married Eugene L. Hower, Sr. on May 31, 1945 in Hopkins, Michigan and he preceded her in death on June 5, 2009. She is survived by two sons, James (Marilyn) Hower and Roger (Debra) Hower; one step-son, Eugene (Diane) Hower, Jr.; and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one step-daughter, Gladys Lozano, one brother and one sister. According to Rosella’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
