RoseMarie Buris' Obituary
Mrs. RoseMarie Buris, age 85, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, April 13, 2018. She was born on June 12, 1932 in Muskegon to John and Blanche (Priebe) DeHorn and resided in the area all her life. RoseMarie and her husband, George were the owners of US 31 BBQ for over 70 years. She enjoyed crafting, decorating her home, reading, music and most of all her family. RoseMarie was a long-time and active member of East Muskegon Christian Reformed Church before it closed. On March 1, 1952, she married George P. Buris and he preceded her in death on November 30, 2011. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Kristi Buris and Kyle (Rondi) Buris both of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren, Christopher Scott Johnson, Kimberly Marie (Josh) Dekker, Justin Robert (Kaleigh) Buris, Andrew Paul (Brynn) Buris, and Lauren Elizabeth Buris; 4 great granddaughters, Sofia Marie Dekker, Norah Grace Buris, Evelyn Rose Buris and one on the way, Charlotte Noelle Buris; sister, Mary Louise Griesbach and her favorite brother-in-law, David Griesbach of Fruitport; and one niece and nephew; and many cousins. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be 11 AM Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Forest Park Covenant Church (3815 Henry St.) with Pastor David McCowan officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior at church, from 10-11 AM. Memorial Contributions to St. Jude’s Children Hospital will be appreciated.
