Rose Marie Glore's Obituary
Ms. Rose Marie Glore, age 77, passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 at her residence. Rose was born June 10, 1934 to Warren W. and Kathryn (Preston) Walsh, the oldest of five children; in Escanaba, MI. She had worked as a bus driver supervisor and custodian for Muskegon Public Schools for many years prior to her retirement. Rose Marie loved animals, but her big love was her family. Her life revolved around her family, including her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is survived by her 3 children, David Allen Glore of Branch, MI, Dennis Paul (Trish) Glore of Alamogordo, NM, and Denise (Joel) McElrath of Holland, MI; 8 grandchildren, Dean, Sadie, and Anna Glore, Dana (Ken) Glore Grey, Karla (Gene) Middlecamp, and Kellen and Kylie McElrath; 5 great grandchildren; a brother, Walter Walsh of Shelby, MI; 2 sisters, Leona Simpkins of Muskegon, and Fran (Don) Griffis of Muskegon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Jim Walsh. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be 11:00 AM Friday, October 7, 2011 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Pastor John H. Brown officiating. VISITATION will be Thursday evening from 5-8 PM. Interment will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
