Mrs. Rosemary Hayes' Obituary
Mrs. Rosemary Hayes, age 88, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 21, 2013. She was born November 21, 1924 in Muskegon to William and Eva (Parison) Hebestreit. She was the office manager for A.E.I. Engineering (Dobben Motor Sales) for 17 years before retiring in 1985. Rosie was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. She enjoyed figure skating and was a member of the Muskegon Skating Club. She also enjoyed traveling, sewing, knitting, and had a great love for music. On September 20, 1947 she married John Allen Hayes in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on April 23, 1996. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Pamela Bruining, Linda Hayes both of Norton Shores, James Allen (Vivian) Hayes of Plainwell, MI; and 6 grandchildren, Nicole, Ronald, Bob, Kyle, Ian, and Cameron. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Barbara Rogers. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at St. Mark Lutheran Church (4475 Henry St.) with Rev. Mark Gilson officiating. Burial will take place in Norton Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
