Mrs. Rosemary Hoos' Obituary
Mrs. Rosemary Hoos, age 86, went home to be with her Lord Sunday evening, August 14, 2016. Rosemary was born March 27, 1930 in Muskegon to Vernon and Trena (Rose) Sherwood. She married Willard G. Hoos on April 11, 1947 and he preceded her in death on March 19, 2003. Rosemary had worked at Federal Department Store and then as a secretary for Viking Foods for 10 years prior to her retirement in 1979. She was faithful member of Hope Reformed Church. Rosemary was also a favorite aunt to her many nieces and nephews and will be missed by all those who loved her. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Norma Sherwood and Blanche Suhr; brother-in-law, Paul (Carol) Hoos; her many nieces and nephews; great- nieces and nephews; several great-great nieces and nephews; and her many friends at Nelson Place. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Verna Allen: and brothers, Kenneth and Henry Sherwood. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 20, 2016 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210, with Pastor Steve Hyma officiating. VISITATION will be Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Interment will be made in Oakwood Cemetery.
