Rose Johnson, age 90, of Spring Lake went to be with the Lord April 17, 2011. Survivors include daughters, Bonnie Beukema and Nannette Kammeraad of Spring Lake; three grandchildren, Troy Beukema of Briarcliff Manor, NY, Shannah Be Read Obituary

Like so many of Aunt Rose's nephews and nieces I remember her warmth, and good cheer. I always felt comfortable in her presence. She was a good friend to my Mother "Kate Johnson" and I was happy to have participated in some of their last get togethers. We all care and share your grief at this time. I met Rose some 15 years ago. I was a cashier at meijer, and she was one of my favorite people to wait on. What a lovely lady, always looked so neat and put together, and always had a beautiful smile to share with the world. I will miss her. See you again someday in the future Rose.

We have great memories of Aunt Rose. She was always cheerful and filled with kindness to all around her. We always enjoyed our visits.
