Rosemary Kurtzer's Obituary
Mrs. Rosemary Patterson Kurtzer, age 72, passed away Monday, October 18, 2010 at a local nursing home. Rosemary was born April 25, 1938 to Clare A. and Virginia L. (Mosher) Reed in Muskegon. In 1954 she married Robert Patterson. She was later married to Don Kurtzer. Rosemary was a very fun and loving mother. She was a member of Wolf Lake United Methodist Church, was an avid gardener and collected elephant figurines. Rosemary is survived by her children, Michael (Pamela) Patterson of N. Muskegon, Gregory Patterson of Twin Lake, Sherry Walker of Sarasota FL, and James (Carrie) Patterson of Whitehall; 5 grandchildren, Logan, Weston, Zachery, Jessica, and Jacob Patterson; a brother, Kenneth (Judy) Reed of California; a sister, Peggy (Lester) Riegler of Muskegon; and former daughter-in-law, Christine Osborn. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Hunter Patterson; 3 brothers, Joe, Jack, and Tom Reed; and a sister, Virginia Semelbauer. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11AM Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Wolf Lake United Methodist Church (370 Vista Terrace) with Rev. Gil Boersma officiating. Visitation will be one hour(10-11AM) prior to the service. Burial will be in Egelston Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Wolf Lake United Methodist Church.
