I was so sorry to hear that Rosie had been so ill and lost the battle. She was always so full of life and we had many good times during our high school years and for a while after we had both married until our lives took different directions. We were actually together and met Andy at the same time. I, too had been wondering how she was, especially with class reunion approaching. Good Morning Mom, I was just thinking of all the wonderful ways you have made my life special. You always had a way of saying just the right thing when I needed to hear it. I will miss our talks. I am at peace knowing I did everything I could to make your final day comfortable. I am so glad I was able to be with you in your final moments for that last kiss goodbye. You will be thought of every day for the rest of my life, and Isabella will know just how special your are. Please give my son Paul hugs and kisses for me every day. I know he is in good hands now with you there to watch over him. I will see you both again, and that is what I will hold onto when I am missing you. Rose and I were best friends all through high school. We shared silly times and sad ones. We talked of our hopes and dreams for the future. I had a car and we went off on adventures we never told our parents about! I was
the maid of honor at Rose and Andy's wedding. Life as young mothers kept us both busy and finally our paths separated but thoughts would sometimes drift back to those long-ago days and the fun we had...and I'd wonder how life was going for Rose.
