Roxane M. Vickers' Obituary
Roxane May Vickers, age 62, passed away at home surrounded by family on October 30, 2024, after a year long battle with cancer. Roxane was born to Elmer and Loretta (Jones) Gager on November 6, 1961, in Muskegon, MI, and she lived most of her life in the surrounding area. She worked as a machinist for Midwest Spring and Stamping for many years, and then finished her career working as a truck driver before retiring in 2022. On November 30, 2000, she married Terry Vickers, and the two of them shared many happy memories over the years.
Roxane had a vibrant personality, there was nothing boring about her. She was always outspoken and never afraid to tell you what she thought. She loved driving in her Corvette, riding her Harley, and playing video games with her grandkids. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She loved hosting and cooking for family, and she was always very involved in their lives.
Roxane will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Terry Vickers; four children: Richell Moore, Raymond Brock, Rosanna (James) Brock-Schuler, and Richard Brock; 16 grandchildren: Teddy, Mackenzie, Faith, Raymond, Kyler, Alexzandrea, Cailarae, Kallyssa, Brieonnah, Brandon, Jacob, Bailey, Emerson, Jayden, Brayden, and Zander; three great-grandchildren; three siblings: Keith Gager, Lori O’Neal, and David Gager; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Loretta Gager, and brother, Kurt Gager.
