Dear Connie and Family - I'm so sorry to hear about Roy's passing:( I have fond memories of you both (your mom too!) playing cards with my parents and having a laughing, good time! Roy was always checking in on FB...making funny comments and sincerely checking in to see how our family is doing. He was a great, sincere man with a warm smile. Praying for peace for you and comfort in the many, wonderful memories of him.

Connie and Family, I am very sad to learn that Roy has passed. I have worked with and known Roy for ~30 years. Roy was my friend. In our younger day's, I referred to him as "Shake-N-Bake" (as did many). For the last ~20 years, I simply called him Uncle Roy. I was part of a small group that received Uncle Roy's daily (almost daily) fishing reports. I smiled every time I read one, and i read them all :-). Water temp., water clarity, wind direction, number of fish - keepers and "shorts", number of times bitten off, etc. I loved a lot of things about Roy, mostly the type of person he was. Roy appreciated and valued the simple (best things) in life. He valued and appreciated his family, friends, dogs, fishing, playing cards and roling dice. To quote Roy "It don't get any better than that". Roy was the kind of person that the world needs more of ............he will be sadly missed. May God bless you all..

Worked with Mr. Baker at Howmet. Talked many times of the Bass fishing and of course Engineering issues. Always enjoyed the visits out on the shop floor. Roy was good man. Sorry to hear of his passing Mike Hughes
