Royce "Robin" R. Gray's Obituary
Royce “Robin” Gray, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. He was born on December 27, 1960, to Raymond Gray and Loretta (Priest) Gray in Grand Haven, MI. Robin was a resident at the Lilac Home since Aug. 27, 1986. He enjoyed spending time outside, going for car rides, and just seeing people! He loved cars and motorcycles and enjoyed watching them drive by. He also enjoyed watching movies, especially anything with "action". Robin loved being the "center of attention" when family and friends gathered. He always had a smile for everyone, and even though he was non-verbal, his expressions let you know what he was thinking sometimes! He had a mischievous grin and sparkly expressive blue eyes. Robin was loved by everyone that knew him!
Our family would like to thank Reco Scott & the Lilac Staff for all of the wonderful care they have provided over the years. I personally appreciate everything Reco has done for Robin and has always stayed in touch with me as his guardian. He did an excellent job keeping me updated, and I'm grateful to him that he was with Robin until the end. -Kim, Robin’s sister.
Robin was preceded in death by his mother, Loretta Gray; father, Raymond Gray; siblings, Norman Priest; Terry Priest (Pam Bishop), Debra Herrick, Rayburn Gray, Pat Johnson, and Nita Rand; and sister-in-law, Shelley Harris. Robin will be missed by his sister and guardian for the past 40 years, Kim (Jeff) Bigelow; brother, Rodney Harris; brother and sisters-in-law, Cindy Priest, Kent Herrick, and Doris Gray; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
