Roy Edward Walters' Obituary
Mr. Roy E. Walters, age 77, died early Wednesday morning, April 14, 2004. He was born July 25, 1926 in Paris, TN to Fred and Lorene (Cheatam) Walters, and had lived in the Muskegon area since he was one year old. Mr. Walters was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, and a life member of the VFW Post 446. He had worked for Consumers Power since 1950 as an engineer, and retired in 1997. On May 18, 1956, he married the former Helen Heinrich in Angola, IN, and she survives him along with a son, Charles (Claudia) Walters of Parker, CO; granddaughter, Diane D. Walters; 7 siblings, Charlene (Edward) Schmeltzer, William (Donna) Walters, Joan (Clair) St. Clair, Charles L. (Leslie) Walters, Mary (Thomas) Jones, Robert (Susan) Walters, Debra Walters; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Fred, Russell, and Frank. Per his request, there will be no services. Burial will take place in Laketon Twp. Cemetery. Arrangements by
