Rudolph Bartos' Obituary
Mr. Rudolph Bartos, age 90, passed away Monday afternoon, April 11, 2005 at his home. He was born April 6, 1915 to Andrew and Anna Bartos in Muskegon, and was a life resident. Mr. Bartos started working at Erickson Trucking in 1937, and worked there for 39 years before retiring in 1976. He was also a WWII U.S. Navy veteran. He was a 66 year dues paying member of the Ironworkers Local #340, enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, hunting, and fishing. On September 2, 1940, he married Alice Grace Lillie. SURVIVORS include his wife, Grace; 6 children, Joe (Arloa) Bartos of Muskegon, Jacquelyn (Darrell) Hodges of Muskegon, Roy (Carilyn) Bartos of Muskegon, George (Rhonda) Bartos of Muskegon, Anita Bartos of Pocatello, ID, and Steven Bartos of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Sue Griffith of Riverside, CA. He was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Pauline Crandall; and several brothers and sisters. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Friday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Ave.
