Dear Cloetingh Family and Friends,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved one. Please accept my sincere condolences. I too have lost several loved ones in death, and the pain is fresh, even with the passage of much time. Thankfully, I have found relief in knowing that "The Most High God" is the “Hearer of Prayer”, and a source of tremendous comfort in times of grief and distress.(Psalms83:18,Psalms65:2) Please be assured , death will soon be “swallowed up forever” and we will have the opportunity to see our dead loved ones again.(Isaiah 25:8) My family and I wish you and yours peace.(Phillipians4:7)

I worked for Mr "C" for 5 years - it was my first real job. I have very fond memories of both the people and the job. My sympathies go out to Veronica, Stephen and Teresa who I worked with as well as the rest of the family. He was a great insurance man and I learned so much from working for him. -Heather Pollock

My dad, Russell S Cloetingh Jr was a fabulous husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. His love of life will be remembered by all those that knew him. He loved his clarinet in his youth, his plane and boats, his hole in one in golf, traveling the world including the Queen Mary Ship, his flight on the Concord, and many flights in his plane to the Bahama's, and many trips to the Netherlands. He was a perfectionist when doing anything of which we received his help on many home improvement projects. He had a fun jolly laugh and a fabulous smile that will be shining down on us forever. He was a graduate of Michigan State College with a Masters in Science and held season tickets for 35 years. He loved his Spartans. He taught his kids and grandkids what a fun time it is to tailgate before and after the games. We all have lots of photos and experiences with him that will keep us all smiling. He was like a river with many branches leaving kindness to those along his journey through life. He will be missed.
