Mr. Russell P. Holtz's Obituary
Mr. Russell Holtz, age 82, passed away on December 11, 2016 in Muskegon. He was born on January 17, 1934 to Michael and Rose (Langlois) Holtz. Russell was in the United States Army and later married Dolores Deephouse who preceded him in death. He worked for Bastion Blessing in sheet metal and retired after 34 years. Russell loved taking care of his yard, taking trips to Vegas and hunting with his brother in law. Most of all, he loved time spent with his family. Russell was a member of the VFW post 446, and the Muskegon Eagles 668, and attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Survivors include; son, Russ Jr. (Pam) Holtz; daughters, Laura (Jim) Huff, Ruth (Frank) Winter, and Cindy (Dan Chaney Jr.) Holtz; brother, John (Linda) Holtz; sisters, Luanne Leventis and Lucille Olson; special friend and love of many years, Betty Ahrens; step children, Annette (Terry) Tetzlaf, Pat (Bill) Russell, and Richard (Jodi) Ahrens; along with several grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 sisters and 2 brothers. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 2-4 PM, at the Muskegon Eagles Club 668, 621 W Western Ave, (231) 722-2773.
